BALDWIN AREA UPDATE via Trailriders Snowmobile Club >> 02/14

2/14 Update: We received about 6” of snow throughout the system Wednesday into Thursday. Groomers have been out trying to pack in the new snow and smooth out moguls. All groomers will be out today and you may come across them at anytime of day or night, so please use caution ⚠️!

Club president Dan and a trainee will be out today grooming our Hart connector (trail 19 from Hart to trail 320 intersection). We had some issues this week with that tractor that have now been resolved. Please give them plenty of space to work on getting those trails back to flat.

The forecast is looking promising for another 3-6” tonight! Please do your snow dances!

BALDWIN AREA UPDATE via Trailriders Snowmobile Club >> 02/10

2/10 AM Update: We groomed last night in our middle (trails 3, 320, & 324 down to around 8 mile in Newaygo County) and the North and Rail trail sections (3, 35, and 30). Overall, conditions are very good with a few thin areas in the pines but the majority is flat! It appears we have potential for another storm midweek, please keep up the snow dances to help guide the heavy snow over our system! We will be grooming this evening in the 2 sections listed above so please watch out for us! If you encounter our equipment, please yield to us and give us a wave or thumbs up to encourage our volunteer team out there keeping trails great! Pictures are from Trustee and groomer operator, big Al, from the north and rail last night. He had a 12 hour run that finished at 5AM today at -15F 🥶! Thanks Al!
