Jordan Valley Area Trail Report – 12/11
Good evening, we sent two groomers out today, one north and one south. The North 10 (Elmira) has some logging happening and our groomer driver was able to flatten out some rough spots in there. Be cautious of the logging operation when riding that direction.
Trails south of Alba to Starvation Lake were bumpy and flattened out the best possible.
There are many wet spots with one big water hole and a few smaller ones. No water holes toward Lakes of the North.
Overall trails are thin.
The snow we received opening weekend gave us about 3-4” of good base throughout the system but the rains Monday and Tuesday wiped a lot of that away. Currently it’s snowing but not much accumulation yet today.
We’ll keep an eye on the snow and get out there as conditions warrant.
