LAKE GOGEBIC AREA UPDATE via Gogebic Area Grooming – 02/01
For those of you that use the Groomer Tracker App. And see green up 102. Don’t get too excited! We were out taking care of a few nuisance trees and knocking down bumps. Don’t be deceived by the pictures. Trails are in bad shape! We’re just doing what we can while no traffic. The trails are savable at this point but continue to detoriate. It will take a heavy dumper to salvage the remainder of the season.

WEATHER UPDATE via Michigan Storm Chasers >> Snow and ice return tonight, and continue through midday April 4th, 2026. Snow totals will be the highest yet again into the Keweenaw Peninsula. It's almost a carbon copy of today. Ice totals, however, are primarily a concern for the Upper Peninsula.
