19 degrees this morning and cloudy. I did see temps into the upper 40`s the last couple of days but we still have plenty of snow on the ground. Just gettin in and around town is starting to get tough. The plowed roads we use for part of our trail system are down to mud now. Here`s what I know for the trails…..

Groomer Mike ran the Pine Stump trail #8 and did call it good yet. As I said above, the plowed roads are pretty muddy and there is some dirt showing on the inside of some corners.

Groomer Dave M. ran the South trail #8 and called that one good also. The swamp south of town is still ridable but there is water standing on the trail in places and some corners are dirty.

Haven`t heard from anybody else and I didn`t make it out to the barn yesterday so can`t give you an honest update on any of the other trails but I`m sure they are OK. In fact, I`m going for a ride today out to Pine Stump with a couple of regulars here.

Sooo…..thats all I know.

38 degrees this morning and sunny. I saw 46 yesterday. It really started to turn the trails to mush by late afternoon. It amazes me how fast the trails can go to crap once the temps start to warm up and the sun shines on them. The weather looks like it will be up and down temp wise, so we`ll see what happens. Here`s what the trails look like……

The Point trails are holding up good yet.

Groomer Gerald ran the Falls trail #45 and called it good except for the first few miles from town which he called just fair.

Groomer Zach ran the Stump trail #8 and called that good yet. He did find a wallet on the trail. I`ll run out to the barn this afternoon and get it and send it back to ya. I hope you see this report before you go cancelling all your cards and worry about it.

I ran the South trail #8 also. The swamp south of town is gettin mushy but still froze solid. There are a few dirt spots in the corners and just a bit of water on top of that but you can still get thru there OK. I will rate that section as fair-poor. The rest of the trail I will rate as good yet.

With this up and down weather we will be grooming as needed now. We will keep on top of it just in case it cools back down and decides to be winter again.
