Paradise Area Trail Report – 12/20

Here`s the trail report for our entire system…..as promised.

Groomer Woody ran the Point trails, thats #452 & #453. He reported no serious problems, just a couple of wet spots but no big deal. He called it good condition.

Groomer Gene ran the Pine Stump trail ( #8 ). This trail is on high ground and we don`t usually have any water problems. It does go through the burnt area from the Duck Lake fire from a couple of years ago and we do have drifting problems in there. He reported no problems and rated it in good shape also.

Groomer Don ran south on trail #8, thats through our ‘famous’ swamp. On his way out he had no problems but on the return trip he started to break through in a few spots. He said it wasn`t that bad but be careful in there. It is passable by sled…..just be careful!! The gates remain open.

Groomer Ben ran the trail to the Falls (#45). He reported no problems, just a few mushy spots where it needs to freeze alittle more solid. He rated it as good also.

So there you go, our entire 120 mile system here in Paradise. The over all rating is good with just a few wet spots…nothing serious. If you wanted to come UP this weekend I think you`d have a blast!! Not much traffic right now with Christmas coming around the corner. Speaking of that, this will be the last report for me until after Christmas. I`m heading down below to be with family.

The weather is supposed to remain cold with a few snow showers throughout the week so nothing should change from now to then. Have a Merry Christmas and I`ll be back on the 26th. LET ER SNOW!!!!!!

Groomer Chris
