Paradise Area Trail Report – 02/23

February 23, 2018

27 degrees this morning and snowing pretty hard. It started to snow around 8 this morning so nothing to report on my deck just yet. They are saying just a couple inches though and quitting around noon. Lots went on yesterday so here we go…….

Groomer Mike ran the Pine Stump trail again and called it good.

Groomer Dave M. ran the south trail again too and called that good now. The day before he called it just fair.

Groomer Kevin hit the Point Trails and called them good.

Groomer Larry ran the Falls trail and called that good also.

As you can see, we hit all 4 sections of our system yesterday and last night. This is with just 2 machines we have running. Haven`t seen the injector pump we are waiting for for the third machine yet……maybe today. The new machine is running good now, I think we finally got all the bugs out of her. It ran for 20 hrs. straight yesterday without a hitch. The other machine ran for 16 hrs. straight without a hic-up too.

This weekend is gonna be really busy and we are working really hard on these trails FOR YOU!!!!! So please…..when you see us coming at you, pull over to the side and let us go by, it saves us a lot of time. When you come up on a groomer from behind, don`t ride right on our tail, back off a bit and we`ll let you by asap. PLEASE don`t rip up the fresh groom….PLEASE!!! It only destroys the trail faster and it really pisses us off.

All I have for today. LET `ER SNOW!!!!!!!

Groomer Chris

Paradise Area Trail Report – 02/22

February 22, 2018

Zero degrees this morning and partly cloudy. It was below zero all night last night and we got just a dusting of snow. It snowed most of the day yesterday but didn`t amount to much…..maybe 2 inches max. I`ve had quite a few calls lately asking how much snow we have on the ground, its anywhere from 2.5 to 3 foot, depending on where you are at, so plenty! The weather guessers are all over the map as far as whats gonna happen the next few days. Some say an inch or two and some say 4-5 inches but it looks like the temps will be around 30ish for highs…..so its all good for this weekend. Now, on to the trails……

Groomer Dave M. ran the South trail #8 yesterday and called it fair. He`s gonna run it again today as far as I know. The swamp south of town is holding up but its really icey. If we get this snow they are talking about that will help alot.

Groomer Kevin ran the Falls trail last night and called it good. He`s runnin the Point Trails this morning also.

All I know for today. LET `ER SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!
