Trails are in poor condition thanks to Mother Nature sending the warm weather our way early this week. Not much snow action forecasted in the coming week. Time for the snow dance again. As always please check back here for updates.

Trail and Snow Report…..Not Looking Good Right Now! Wednesday
by Heart Lake Resort on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at 10:12am

Yesterday was extremely warm – almost forty on my digital thermometer. The current temp today is 33.1 degrees. A lot of bare spots are showing on the trails and unfortunately it’s forecasted to be unseasonable warm for the rest of the week. I would rate the riding in some places to be fair but poor to non- existent where the trails are in the open. Still snow in the back country but that will be soft I’m sure depending on the temp when you’re exploring those areas. If you ever need more information weather you’re staying with us or not or even a place to stay, please feel free to give us a call. We’re now taking bookings for spring golf groups and summer family fun if you’d like to give us a try. Please feel free to give us a call. Thanks. John @ Heart Lake Resort Cottages 989-732-5081

Gaylord groomers report there is an icy base on the trails. Temperatures are back above freezing during the day and back down below freezing at night. Trails are in ‘POOR’ condition at this time. Grooming was done Monday night! As always please check back here for updates.
