TRAVERSE CITY AREA UPDATE via Grand Traverse Area Snowmobile Club – 2/25
Trail Report: 02-25-2022
We received about 3-4 inches of snow last night. The wife and I took a ride to see how the trails were. The base is icy from the sleet last week and the new snow was a welcomed sight. I don’t know how long this new snow will hold up but if you need to get a ride in don’t hesitate. Grooming operations have not started back up yet, we are going to hold off for the time being and see what the weather brings. The trails I rode today were hard and flat. If anything changes I will update you. Remember, Ride Right, Ride Sober, Ride Safe.

WEATHER UPDATE via US National Weather Service Gaylord Michigan >> Mostly sunny skies are in store for many areas south of the bridge this afternoon as low clouds may linger across the eastern U.P. through the day. Temperatures will continue to warm through the first half of the week, reaching well into the 40s and even low 50s for some on Wednesday. TRAVERSE CITY AREA UPDATE via Sled Solutions >> 50 Miles on the Grand Traverse Area Snowmobile Club system from Peegeo's to Kalkaska and I'd give it a 8 out of 10. Trails were flat but we do have SOME dirt showing in the open areas where the sun is hitting it. Overall 95% coverage. Tomorrow is supposed to be warm again but right back below freezing. Weekend should be good to go. #traversecity #snowphotos
