Keweenaw Peninsula Trail Report – 03/08

Krupp’s Resort – 3/8

Good morning Kruppers
Well we lost power at 2am and all the cams are down!
I was able to pull up the cam for MIDot up by Jim & Debs Kruppsmart and as you can see we have snow again!
Nothing big but things are white again!
Let hope it keeps coming!
Forecast isn’t calling for much any helps!
4-8′ is in Sunday’s forecast so that could help if it happens!
Real windy out there!
Have a great day

This is the Keweenaw Snowmobile Trail System Report for Tuesday, March 8, 2017.

Snowmobile trails from Twin Lakes to Copper Harbor are open and trails are in fair to good condition. The groomers are out.

We are unable to groom on Trail #3 between the Portage Lift Bridge and South Range due to extremely low snow cover. Trails south of South Range to Twin Lakes are still being groomed.

All of trail #122 is closed for logging.

Remember when you’re out on the trails to watch out for the groomers. They have the right away. Use caution around logging areas.

The Keweenaw Convention & Visitors Bureau asks that you stay on the trails, STAY OFF THE ICE, respect private property, do not drink and drive, and above all else, drive safely. The signs on the trails are there for riders’ safety so please DO NOT remove or destroy them.
