KEWEENAW PENINSULA UPDATE via Keweenaw Trail Reports​ – 1/6

W❄️W! Thanks for making all of us that are stuck at work extremely jealous of your day on Michigan’s Keweenaw Peninsula!

According to D.J. and crew:

“Monday’s don’t have to suck! Calumet you Copper Harbor, didn’t see 1 snowmobile, but passed 3 groomers. I’ve never rode that many miles of untouched trails”

How much do photos like this make you start counting down the days until your next trip or maybe reminiscent about trips in the past? It’s no secret, riding the weekdays can be the best riding ever!

KEWEENAW PENINSULA / WESTERN U.P. UPDATE via Western & Southern UP Trail Reports​ – 1/5

Sunday I ran down to Sidnaw over to Bruce Crossing up through Rockland and back to Toivola. There was very little traffic most of the ride but I started the day with snow and drizzle.
Now for my honest trail report. Trail 3 down to Mass was in great shape but trail 12 south to Rousseau was rough all the way past Bob Lake. The reroute takes you to trail 109 towards Sidnaw and that was pristine. We seen groomers heading both east and west on Trail 8 which was smooth all the way to Bruce Crossing. Heading north to Rockland was fine and the return was trip on Trail 3 was still in good shape. Seen Brad grooming towards Mass City and looked like the groomer was down on 109 when I rode by it.
All in all it was a great day except for the drizzle from Kenton past Bruce. I highly recommend this loop for a day ride of 100+ miles.
