Keweenaw Peninsula Trail Report – 01/12

KEWEENAW PENINSULA UPDATE via Keweenaw Trail Reports – 1/12

200 miles on a Saturday and almost all freshly groomed trails….. little to no complaints….. sounds like a dream doesn’t it?!?

Well it was real life for Skylar Baxter. Skylar decided to take a day off from his usual backcountry riding, jump on a trail sled and experience the Keweenaw mile after mile! Truly a case of 200 smiles!

Checkout his photos and comments on the day!

I hope you all get to experience Michigan’s Keweenaw Peninsula at least once this season!

“Weekend number 5. Left Twin Lakes around 710 after gassing up the Apex, arrived here in Copper Harbor at 910. 87.9 miles so far today. Time for breakfast!” Skylar

“Ok, back to Twin Lakes at 2:01 p.m. 198.7 miles, I’m going to go ahead and bump that to an even 200, track spin and all. 😁 Trails were fantastic! Little more chop from Houghton to Twin Lakes, but I’ve seen it faaaaar worse on a Saturday afternoon!” Skylar
