Prior to this system that moved in we had 3-4 feet on the ground. Tuesday night-Thursday our snow gauge has gained 14 inches and it is still snowing. The snow gauge sits in an open field off of the lake, so the snow is definitely deeper in many places. Riders are reporting the trails to be spectacular and extending their stays.

All trails north of Newberry from here to (Grand Marais, Paradise, Newberry and Seney) were reported to be in excellent condition. Visit the snow depth chart to see that our area truly has the most snow!

Trail #45, it is partially plowed. Large drifts were reported yesterday but the groomers were out last night to smooth things out and the winds have died down.

We are located 12 mi NW of Newberry and 7 miles S of Pinestump Junction. Between Grand Marais and Paradise.
