We had warm temps over the weekend. This morning we had 4" on our snow board and have added at least an inch since then. Total depth was 22". Still snowing and deeper snow further north and west. Temps are bitterly cold and they are calling for another 2-6 today and more over the next few days.

Trails have been reported as "mostly good." With a range of "the best I’ve seen" to complaints of moguls and washboards from the same riders pending trails and traffic. Paradise reports a section of trail 8 leaving Paradise headed SOUTH towards the Tahquamenon River MOUTH (NOT falls) is closed.

Well, looky here, its a real winter day!

It is 6 degrees this morning and snowing. Looks like we got about 2 inches last night also.

The wind is outa the NW so that should kick up more lake effect too. The weather guessers are still calling for an inch here and a couple there so thats good news.

All trails were groomed last night and are in good shape. Groomer Mike is gonna go into the swamp today and see what he can do. With this couple inches we got last night and the cold temps he might be able to accomplish something. Probably not get it open but maybe close. I am grooming tonight to the Falls so he will call me in the morning and let me know how it went. Then, I`ll let ya`ll know too!!

Bout all I got for ya fer now. If you are thinking about coming UP…..DO IT….you won`t be sorry. LET `ER SNOW!!!! Groomer Chris
