TRAIL HOLDING ON NICELY DESPITE HIGH TRAFFIC!
Traffic is up this weekend but the trails are staying fairly flat with good snow cover and a good hard base. Sections of trails are becoming a bit sugary in areas and some ice developing in corners. Keep a close eye on conditions as you ride and stay right. We have a few wet trouble spots on Trail 418. The holes on Trail 418 are hazardous so ride and cross with extreme caution (Map in images showing locations).
Get out and enjoy some great riding conditions and keep the snow dancing going – we really, really need new snow.

MUNISING AREA UPDATE via TNT Trenary Northern Trails – 01/15
It was a very busy Saturday with plenty of traffic around for the long weekend and the trail took a beating. Even after leaving two hours later than usual we ran into a lot of traffic still out enjoying the day.
We expect the west bound side of the trail to get bumpy fairly quickly as just about everyone we passed was happy to be able to get off the beat up side of trail and onto something flat, can’t blame them for that today but without any set up time and about 30 to 40 riders passing us it was already getting bumpy by our return trip. The rest of the trail.and the eastern end are in great shape for Sunday.
