Cold front is moving in but………… we had lots of rain last night and the snow is almost all gone. Waiting see what this storm will bring our way. We will keep you updated. Good news and bad news on snow though. We have gotten anywhere from 10-16′ of snow in the last several days but now are experiencing a warm up. We were building a base up but its melting down quick now. Forecast says the warm up goes on for a few days now and back cold end of the week and into next. Lets hope snow too! We need more snow and cold before the groomers can get out there but there IS snow for the moment and trails are so-so to poor but better than nothing right? NOTE! Benzie Manistee Snowbirds is offering their Snowmobile Safety Class. Saturday December 7 at the Snowbirds Club House at 14121 Industrial Ave., Kaleva. Offered free to ages 12 and up. (Must be 12 by Dec 31) Classes start at 9am, finish about 3pm. Snowbirds provide lunch. Registration day of class at 8am.
