Cadillac Area Trail Report – 03/29

Thursday, March 29, 2012

What an unfortunate season! We kept hoping for a spring break storm but it never happened and Sunday the trails are officially closed to snowmobiles. All we can do now is hope for a better year next year.

Thought you might be interested in these facts provided by Al Green our Trail Coordinator. ‘We groomed 2948 miles this winter in 440.7 hours and used 2361.8 gallons of fuel. We only groomed 2 full weeks and 4 partial weeks during the entire season (none in December). These are the lowest totals for which we have records.’

We would like to thank all of our volunteers and supporters. We simply couldn’t do what we do without our your continued support year after year. We all take great pride in making the Cadillac trail system the best it can be.

Have a safe and fun summer and we look forward to seeing you on the trails next winter.
