Saturday Morning Snow and Trail Report…

Cold this morning – 7.5 degrees out. We did receive a little more snow yesterday during the day after we got dumped on the night before – only another inch or so though. We have 14 sleds here this weekend. Riding will be marginal where the main trails are in the open but there now is a fair amount of snow on the seasonal roads that don’t get plowed and in the back country for sure. There really wasn’t much of a base at all to begin with and that has been the problem so far this winter. Many of the main trails were showing a lot of dirt before this recent snow. Winter Storm Watch in effect until 12 PM Friday!

We did receive about 8 ~ 10 inches of new snow depending on the area. With much colder temperatures in the area. Grooming will resume tonight and into the weekend. Currently we are receiving snowfall in the Gaylord area. As always check back here for updates!

It’s a beautiful white wonderland here in Northern Michigan. We have about 8 inches of fresh snow which have put the trails back in great order. There’s so much white you can’t really tell this is the trail.

The groomers are out grooming tonight. Just had some friends stop in on their new sleds and they had passed the groomer. So things are going to be in great shape for the weekend.

It’s the most wonderous season of all – Snowmobile Season!
