Grayling Trail Report – Fay’s Motel – 12/31

Greetings Sledders,

My gut has been telling me recently that not much is going to come from this system that is growing in the plains and headed our way, Keep in mind that I’m not an expert on gutspeak and what my gut has really been telling me may have simply been that it’s time to eat. We could actually be in the game by sometime Monday.

As of tonight’s forecast by the local weather wizards we are slated to get a foot (yes that’s twelve whole inches) of snow starting Sunday afternoon and going into Monday with strong winds carrying LE Snows. Who knows if it will come down as predicted but this is certainly encouraging news.

The initial snowfall that is in the forecast is system snow which is generally moisture laden, the type that is conducive to snowman building and snowball fights, ahh to be a youth again.

We will let you know how much we actually get and if it’s enough to fire up the groomers but they probably won’t hit the trails until the snowman building thing is done and I’ve hit Groomer Bill with a couple of surprise snowballs along side his head.

Have a Happy New Year everyone.

Riding appears to be closing in on us.

Ride Often and Please Be Safe,
Keith, Sandy and The Girls.

At Fay’s Motel enjoy direct access to the Grayling Area snowmobile trails.
