The warm weather has not been kind to the trails especially on the east end. Some areas are fine but other areas are becoming extremely thin.

Four logging areas are currently active. PLEASE ride with caution and watch for log trucks!

INTERNATIONAL ICE BRIDGE TO CANADA: The Ice Bridge is OPEN and active! Customs officials are manning the Island offices and have posted regular hours. Before you cross make sure you have the appropriate ID paperwork.

CROSS COUNTRY SKIING FANS: All trails are OPEN! The Rainbow Trail system is groomed on a weekly basis and the skiing couldn’t be better!

SNOWSHOEING FANS: All trails are open for snowshoeing! Local volunteers have been out on the Heritage Trail system making improvements to the signage and clearing fallen branches.

ICE SKATING FANS: The local rink is open and waiting! Grab your skates, a thermos of hot cocoa and head down to the Townhall. The ice is slick and fast!
