KEWEENAW PENINSULA UPDATE via The U.P. Superior Snowmobile Club – 01/14 My snow report from Mass City as of noon today! First it appears that my snow measuring stick needs to be moved for accurate reporting! I get a fail on that one! Lol! The best way to measure is by shovel, it appears! By that measurement, we have received an additional 10 inches over night. Hooray!! It’s truly a winter scene! I’ll let you judge for yourself with my pics! Thanks for all the dancing and prayers for our community! We appreciate you all! Yesterday was very windy and drifty but I would say it feels like this storm and LES has brought us about 18+ inches of fresh and it’s still coming

Blizzard Warnings have moved South to include Leelanau, Emmet, Cheboygan, Southeastn Chippewa, Mackinac Island/Bois Blanc, Beaver Island. Ice Storm Warnings have moved South to include Wexford, Missaukee, Oscoda, Alcona and Alpena Counties. Winter Weather Advisories now include Clare, Osceola Counties.
The warm line is farther South keeping higher totals North. Winds continue to pick up along with the snow tonight.
