MUNISING AREA UPDATE via Alger County Sorva – 2/27
TRAIL REPORT, Monday, February 27, 2023 6:00 a.m.
GREAT RIDING CONDITIONS!
Trails are grooming out nicely and in an overall good condition. Snow is still sugary in a few areas along with some icy inside corners developing throughout the day. Snow expected tonight, hopefully we can bump the trail rating up a notch. Keep a close eye on trail conditions as you ride and stay right. Stay tuned for updates!

MUNISING AREA UPDATE via TNT Trenary Northern Trails – 2/26
Well, they say bad things come in 3’s, this is number 2. Just got the groomer back up and running a few days ago, and now tonight, we broke a tie rod. Groomer is parked on the trail in Eben, and can’t be moved. We will regroup tomorrow, and see if we can figure something out. Take caution in Eben, wouldn’t want anyone to hit it and get hurt. Ride right, have fun, and be safe out there.
Winds will gust 30-40mph at times blowing around new slow and fluffy snow already on the ground. Expect ground blizzards at times (wind driven, brief, white outs). ... See MoreSee Less
WEATHER UPDATE via US National Weather Service Marquette Michigan >> Another quickly-moving Clipper will bring a round of widespread, light snow beginning this evening, followed by lingering lake effect snow across the NW wind snow belts for Tuesday. Totals of an inch or less are expected for most of the UP, but where lake effect snow occurs, up to 2-5in of snow is possible tonight through Tuesday evening. As winds pick up early Tuesday, patchy blowing snow may contribute to reduced visibility in the NW wind snow belts.
