Gaylord Area Trail Report – Ray’s Retreat Country Inn – 12/22

Things are looking good. The 20 inches of snow that we got from Winter Storm Draco has set us up for a great trail riding week between Christmas and New Years. That was a very wet snow so good packing to make a solic base.

They are out grooming the trails. As they go along, the trail needs to be cleared thru the wooded areas. So many trees/branches down from the heavy snow. From Gaylord south on trail 7 had been groomed and then they headed west to trail 4 where it starts going thru the woods, so progress is slowed down.

They will have the trails in good riding shape. Can you believe it? This is the first time in several years where we will have great conditions for the Christmas/New Years week. A delightful Christmas present.

Paradise Area Trail Report – Paradise Area Night Riders – 12/22

OOOHHHH YEA!! Looks like Ole Man Winter finally woke UP!! After 2 years its about time. We got a good foot to 15 inches the last day and a half. The groomers are out and about and it does look like its gonna stay. We set the town trail yesterday and are running the trails today. You are still gonna run into alittle water here and there but it shouldn`t be too bad…just be careful. Things aren`t perfect but it looks like we`ll be good to go for after Christmas to New Years week.

I`m heading down below da bridge for a couple of days for Christmas with family so will post again around the 26th. I think its safe to say come on UP for some early season ridin! – Groomer Chris
