Benzie Visitor Bureau – 2/20

Hi All! Well trails held up yesterday pretty good and conditions have been great but unfortunately we are looking at another day of warm and rain, ice and wind before a cold front comes back. We have lots of snow, the groomers have been out a lot and the base is a good solid 16-18′. BUT it can be deteriorating fast with rain and warm so I guess we’ll have to wait and see what this mini warm up is gonna do. It’s getting slushier as the day goes by. 🙁 So I will check in again tomorrow to let you know how we are hanging on! Fingers crossed and keep up the snow dance for another month plus! We did get in the 30’s the last couple of days, but it did not hurt our trails, made them a little soft, and around towns got snirty. We got 2-3′ of heavy wet snow last night and they are calling for another 2-4′ today, so everything we lost we got back. Still lots of time to ride!
