27 degrees this morning and its snowing. Supposed to get around an inch today and temps into the low 30`s. The warm up is coming for next week but the weather guessers are chillin out on the rain forecast…this is good…maybe we`ll get another week or two!!! Talked to a couple of the groomers who ran last night and this is what they say…….

Groomer Dave ran south on Trail #8. He called it good and the swamp is holding up but this warm up coming might trash it pretty quick. We will keep a pretty close eye on that.

Groomer Steve ran the Falls Trail #45 last night and called it excellent. He said ALOT of traffic was out and it was torn up but after he got done it turned out excellent.

Haven`t heard from the other groomers who ran the other two sections but I`m assuming they are good to excellent….I need alittle more cooperation from them two!! Just a phone call would help.

All trails will get groomed today and tonight and we will keep on grooming until we can`t anymore. Keep checking back and I`ll keep you informed. Remember, we are the only club in the area that can groom in the warmer weather cause of the drags we use so our trails will hold up better than others.

ps stay on trail in town do not go in peoples yards and go 15 mph on the town trail and MUST WEAR HELMENT ALL THE TIME its the law

Is this really it or will we get another shot of winter later on in the month. Thank goodness its only 27 out and very cloudy. We had a skiff of snow overnight with enough to brighten it up a bit.

Predictions for upper 30s for later today were making me think that would finish us off, at least on the trails. I guess we need to wait and see. Trailer counts were 7 at the Days Inn and at the Ramada 13 trailers.

When I pulled into Frederic at 9 this morning there were sleds at the gas station getting gas and the picture below is of them. So there are riders trying to use up whatever time we have left.
