26 degrees this morning and cloudy. No new snow last night but "they" are calling for a couple inches for tonight. Here`s what went on yesterday……..

Groomer Dave M. ran south on trail #8. He went thru the swamp with a drag for the first time. He called it good except for one water hole that opened up. Its about half way through that section and across most of the trail, it is only a couple feet across. It is not deep but you can`t get around it. If you putt thru it you won`t have a problem, but if you`re blasting the trail you ain`t gonna like it….so my point is….just take it easy through there!!!!!!! We`ll get `er fixed on the next run thru.

Groomer Mike ran the Stump trail #8. He called it good except for the burn area. "Siberia" as its known, is plenty ridable but the snow is thin.

I did manage to round up another guy, so me and Groomer Kevin went out on a signing mission. We started at the river mouth and went south along M-123. This year, and probably forever, the trail juts in and out from the power line to the highway because of the bridge that washed out. We can`t replace the bridge cause its on private property and the owners said no. This is no problem but pay attention to where the trail runs. It is signed with arrows now to point you in the right direction. We can`t have riders runnin up and down M-123 or we will have a problem. Please stay on the marked trail!

24 degrees this morning and cloudy. No new snow last night either. Looks like it might warm up to low 30`s the next couple days and then drop and kick up a few scattered snow flakes. I got some really good news……ready?……

The boys went into our infamous swamp south of town and it didn`t look too bad. They moved around alot of snow and filled alot of holes and got `er passable!!!! Now, its not perfect so don`t go flyin thru there but you can get thru without gettin wet or muddy. Yea!!!!!!!!!!! Here`s whats happening for today…….

Groomer Dave M. is gonna run south today and go thru the swamp with a drag.

Groomer Mike is heading out on the Stump trail #8.

I am gonna try and round up somebody else and go do some signing on trail #8 south.
