I usually do my reports in the morning. Its just after 5 pm now and I want to do it now while I still have all the info in my head. Lots of info so hang on!!! It is 14 degrees outside and snowing. We picked up a few inches last night and throughout the day today. We are supposed to get a couple-few more tonight. Soooo…..here we go…..

The best news of the day is we have our broke down machine fixed!!!!! It was a simple problem and the tech was here at noon and figured it out. KUDOS to the tech person who came all the way from Iron Mountain in this weather!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now on to the trails after the storm.

There WERE alot of trees down and quite a bit of drifting. Groomer Dave M. ran south yesterday and got most of that taken care of. Groomer Kevin hit it again today but still hasn`t made it back yet. I`m sure I`ll hear from him when he`s done.

Groomers Scott and Mike rode together and hit the Falls trail #45 last night. They reported the same tree and drift problems there. They got the majority of that cleaned up. Needs another run though so just be careful.

Groomers Kevin and a new guy Groomer Glenn rode together and hit the Point trails #452 and #453 yesterday. They got alot of that cleared and Groomer Don hit it again today and took care of the rest.

Tomorrow morning we are sending 2 machines on the Stump trail. One without a drag to clear drifts in Siberia and one with to smooth things out. I know Groomer Mike is going but not sure at this time who else, but we`ll have 2 operators and 2 machines. We`ll send the other machine to the Falls.

WHEW….thats a lot to keep straight in my head!!!!!

6 degrees this morning under a mostly sunny sky.

Its been a few days since my last report but nothing has really changed. All trails remain in excellent shape and all 3 of our machines are running great.

There was a ton of traffic this weekend so the trails got pretty beat up but I`ll bet my bottom dollar if you were UP here ridin you saw a groomer out on your ride! We ran almost around the clock! Everything is getting groomed up today so we`ll have all trails whipped back in shape.

It looks like the weather will remain good for the week but the snow fall will chill out. I know this sounds funny but we could use a little break. We have over waist high snow in the woods. I`ve heard of alot of people getting stuck riding off trail!

All I got for today. Just thought I would jump on here to let ya`ll know I`m still alive. I did get a couple messages asking if I`m ok cause you haven`t seen a report in a few days.

LET `ER SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
