Paradise Area Trail Report – 03/04

PARADISE AREA UPDATE via Paradise Area Night Riders www.paradiseareanightriders.org – 3/4

March 4, 2020

32 degrees this morning and snowing. Looks like we picked up a solid inch last night. The forecasters are all over the map on whats gonna happen the next couple of days. I`ve seen predictions of a couple inches and some up to 8…..we`ll have to wait an see. Here`s whats UP with the trails……..

Groomer Mike ran the Pine Stump trail #8 yesterday and called it good.

Groomer Gerald ran the Falls trail #45 and called that good.

Groomer Dave M. is on the South trail #8 now. I`ll hear from him later today when he`s done, but I`m willing to bet that trail is also good.

I didn`t make it out to da barn yesterday so don`t know if anybody is on the Point trails #452 and #453 today. I do know they haven`t been run in a day or so but I have heard they are fine. Our main Point guy is outa town for a few days, we do miss him.

OK, thats all I know for today. If you`re thinking about coming UP this weekend I say DO IT!!!!

LET `ER SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Groomer Chris

Paradise Area Trail Report – 03/03

PARADISE AREA UPDATE via Paradise Area Night Riders www.paradiseareanightriders.org – 3/3

March 3, 2020

35 degrees this morning and partly cloudy. It did get below freezing last night so that helps plus it was cloudy all day yesterday, that helps a bunch! We are supposed to get about an inch of snow later this afternoon so thats a plus also!

I groomed the south trail #8 yesterday and will rate it as good. The swamp section just south of town kinda surprised me. Its actually still froze solid and I`ll rate it as fair-good. Just fair cause its pretty icey in spots but good in others. I saw a large group of riders in the swamp section and one lady called me by name, I didn`t reconize her cause she had a helmet on but if she wants to pipe up on here to back me up on my ratings ( or not ), that would be cool. I also found a helmet bag full of stuff on the side of the trail. If its yours, get ahold of me on our FB page and describe the contents and I`ll get it back to ya.

The Falls trail #45 was also run yesterday but I have not heard from the driver even after I texted him a couple times so I can`t give you an honest report on that….cooperation man….lets go! I did post a note about this at the barn.

I do know the Pine Stump trail #8 is gonna get run today but not sure about the others.

All I gots fer today.

LET `ER SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
