Paradise Area Trail Report – 02/25

PARADISE AREA UPDATE via Paradise Area Night Riders www.paradiseareanightriders.org >> 02/25

2/25/25
33 degrees this morning and cloudy. It is supposed to stay in the mid 30`s today and then drop into the 20`s for tonight. The rest of the week looks like mid 30`s for highs and below freezing at night, then get colder for the weekend. Bad news is I saw 46 here at my place yesterday. We lost some snow (obviously) and the roads are now bare….bummer.

As far as the trails…….nothing was run yesterday but we will run everything today. I`ll let ya`ll know how everything turns out tomorrow morning. Our high ground trails ie….trails #8 and 9 to Pine Stump and the Point trails #452 and 453 should be fine but I`m a little worried about our low ground trails like the Falls trail #45 and the swamp south of town on trail #8. I`ll keep ya`ll well informed, I promise.

C`mon Mother Nature……we need one more month!!!!!

LET `ER SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Groomer Chris

Paradise Area Trail Report – 02/24

PARADISE AREA UPDATE via Paradise Area Night Riders www.paradiseareanightriders.org >> 02/24

2/24/25
35 degrees this morning with a rain/freezing rain mix. We really had a great run in February with snow and cold temps but it looks like the next few days are gonna suck with temps into the upper 30`s. It does look like the temps will drop by the end of the week tho so lets hope we can hold on for one more month!!

As far as the trails go…..they are still in good shape. All operators that groomed yesterday reported them as good. Today is maintenance day so nothing will be run but we`ll hit them all tomorrow. This warm up for the next few days isn`t gonna help but they should hold….at least for our "high ground" trails. We`ll keep a close eye on our "low ground" trails…ie….the Falls trail #45 and the swamp south of town on trail #8.

I see I haven`t given ya`ll a report since the 19th, that`s cause everything has been in great shape. I`ll keep ya`ll better informed since this weather change.

LET `ER SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! we need one more month
